Body Calibration
To use human avatars in Skyreal and calibrate their size and movement to match the user's, you can launch the 'fast calibration' option, which will automatically detect tracker positions and user size. This option can be found inside the "Edit Myself" command.
For an optimized tracking, we recommend the installation of at least 3 tracking cameras in a dedicated space for the body tracking or tracked objects manipulation. Have in mind that for a correct feet tracking, one of these cameras should be placed floor level.
Fast Body Calibration
Before launching a body calibration, make sure that you're using a metahuman avatar.
The fast body calibration button launches the calibration wizard, where the user would see a new screen that appears in front of him. This screen would ask the user to put itself in a "T-pose" and click any trigger button to validate tracker's position and automatically calculate the body tracking.
Once the user press any trigger button from the controllers, the wizard will show a validated action -in green- and the user can confirm calibration by pressing the Confirm button, or start over with the Restart button.
Advance Calibration
Advance Calibration is useful in case the user wants to be more precise in trackers position or rotation. Before using the advance calibration, we recommend always to start with the Fast Calibration option.
In this bracelet, we can edit trackers binding and edit trackers position.
- Edit This Bind: User Clicks and the bone selection becomes editable by a combo box
- Edit Tracker Position: If needed, user can improve tracker's position or rotation by editing manually to improve tracker's accuracy.
If a user enters on "Advance Calibration" their already calibrated trackers will show on its own avatar.
